A: eSuds™ is an innovative online laundry system that gives users the ability to:
- Go online to check if washers and dryers are available in specific laundry rooms.
- Use their student ID or PIN code to activate and pay for the wash and dry cycles.
- Receive notification that their wash and dry cycles are complete via email, cell phone or PDA.
Q:How do the notifications work?
A: Notifications work two ways:
- If the laundry room is busy, you can request to be notified when a specified washer and/or dryer become available.
- If you have laundry in a washer or dryer, you can request to be notified when your load of laundry has completed the washing or drying cycle.
Q: What benefits does eSuds™ offer laundry service companies?
A: eSuds™ can enhance your laundry service with the user amenities mentioned above. Additionally the service provides real-time online usage report. These are available by campus, resident hall, laundry room and individual laundry machine.
Q: What type of equipment is compatible with eSuds™?
A: eSuds™ is compatible with Maytag Gen 2 equipment.
Q: Can eSuds™ integrate with a School's one card system?
A: The eSuds services can integrate with the Blackboard transaction system. Transactions are authorized and processed through the Blackboard system. eSuds™ also provides audit reports.
